
Conference presentation at the “Sustainable Pathways to the Clean Energy Transition” held on December 21-22, 2022 at the Sudan Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research
Clean Energy 4 Africa team, represented by Dr. Mohamed Alhaj, founder and director, and Akmal Alsagh, programs manager, took part in the “Sustainable Pathways to the Clean Energy Transition” conference, organized by the Sudan University of Science and Technology and hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research on December 21-22, 2022.
The conference highlighted key insights into the challenges of the clean energy transition in Sudan and the important role technology, policies, youth, the private sector, and financial institutions play in this transition.
Dr. Mohamed was a panelist during the session on capacity building and scientific research, where he spoke about the status of clean energy research in Sudan, the gaps and barriers, and recommendations for stronger youth engagement. The presentation also highlighted lessons learned from our mentorship program and research masterclass. See the presentation below.
